All bachelors streams are better for Indian Foreign Service exam. Details of Indian Foreign Service exam is given below.

IFS stands for Indian Foreign Service exam. IFS exam is conducted by UPSC through civil service exam.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for Indian Foreign Service exam.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM 2015:-

Date of Notification:- 16.05.2015
Last date for receipt of applications:- 12.06.2015 (FRIDAY)
Date of commencement of Examination:- 23.08.2015 (SUNDAY)

CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM 2015:-

Date of commencement of Examination:- 18.12.2015 (FRIDAY)

Candidate if fit in the eligibility criteria,then he/she can apply for civil service exam.
This exam is conduct by union public service commission (upsc) once in a year.
Civil service exams conducts in two main stages:-
a) preliminary test (CSAT)
b) civil service main exam
Once the candidate clear the above two syeps,would be called for interview.
Upsc provides recruitmentp into various post in govt sector:-
1) IAS
2)IPS
3) IES
4)IFS
For IFS eligibility rewuired are:-
i) age:minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 28 years.
There are certain reservation categpries as per govt norms.
ii) educational qualification:- any graduate
* degree final year student can also apply for the same
iii) must be indiab
iv) mentally and physically must spund health.
v) must be citizen of india
