IRS stands for Indian Revenue Services. To become an IRS Officer, you need to appear for the civil services exam by satisfying the below mentioned required eligibility criteria. as follows :-

1.You must be a citizen of India.

2.You must have completed graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university.

3.You must be in between 21-30 years old. Age relaxation is applicable ti the reserved category candidate as per the government rules.

4.You must be Physically and Mentally fit.

-->Selection Process :-
1.Preliminary Examination
2.Main Examination
3.Personal Interview
The candidates who have qualified in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the Main examination and the candidates which have qualified in the Main examination will be called for the Personal Interview, based on their performance in the Personal Interview round, the final selection of the candidates will be done and they can join in the Indian Revenue Services.
