How can I get Government job after M.Sc. in Biotechnology? Which CSIR jobs I can apply for?


I am a Post graduate (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology. I am trying for CSIR jobs. an i apply for government jobs? Can you please let me know the procedure which I need to follow to get the government jobs? Looking forward to get the answer soon.

Hello friend,
There are numerous job opportunities for post graduates in Biotechnology in public sector organizations. Public sector organizations like Research & Development Institutes, Government laboratories, Pharmaceutical companies, colleges, Bio Processing Industries etc. recruit post graduates in the field of biotechnology. They are recruited as scientific assistant, process development technician, research analyst, calibration technician, Bio-statistician, Medical affairs Director etc. Major government organizations recruiting bio-technologists are listed below:

All India Biotech Association (AIBA), New Delhi
Biotech Consortium India Limited, New Delhi
Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology (RGCB), Kerela

Recruitment to these organizations is held on the basis of certain examinations conducted by them. Apart from this, the candidate completing M.Sc in Biotechnology can appear for various test conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Public sector bank, State Public Service Commission (PSC), Indian Defence Services, etc.

I am studying integrated biotechnology I want to quit with bsc. With this degree can I apply for government jobs such as railway and so on
