Respected Sir, I am Madan. I live in Supaul district from Bihar. I am student of PG (History) final year. I want to join crime branch in India. I love this job very much. So, please reply me Sir. What should I do for this job?

In order to join crime branch you have to appear for the CGPE examination (Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination). This examination is conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) board every year.

Eligibility to appear for CGPE:

* Graduation in any stream from a recognized institute/college with minimum 55% marks.

* Minimum age for applying is 20 years and for SC/ST/OBC candidates it is 30 years.

After clearing the examination you will be called for a physical test followed by a personal interview.

So, after clearing the CGPE entrance examination you are eligible to join crime branch.
