Hello Sir/Madam, I would like to know about the job roles for Librarian which is available under the recruitment of MPPSC. I am going to apply for the same post in MPPSC recruitment. Please let me know about the job roles.

As you can see that this is the post of librarian related to academic and educational stream so there will be so many responsibilities and other job roles of the librarian which are following :

>> Management of library, staff related to library such as recruitment and other departmental activities and giving them instructions to manage the availability of library resources.

>> Classifying, Development and Selection of proper library material and other resources.

>> Clarifying and providing solutions to readers of the library related to resources, contents and other facilities as per availability in the library.

>> Proper functional and on time supply of demanded requirements of the library with supplier and other networks from where supply is done with management of proper budget and other resources.

>> Development of Information Technology and other technical network in the library and make them function properly such as computers, internet connection and other related devices.

>> Ensure the availability of daily, weekly and monthly magazines and news papers of different languages as per demand of the readers on time and instructing readers to keep all the books and other resources in function and at their perfect place after reading and using of technical devices.

>> Presentation and other verbal communication to readers and staff on time regarding fresh updates and any other rule implemented in the library and the organisation related to library.

>> Reporting to higher authority about new arrival and resources and other updates in the library and make them informed about any other requirement in the library so they do the needful.
