Please provide me the details of educational qualification and age limit for applying in Librarian post in MPPSC recruitment. I am actually interested to apply for this post. Kindly help me with these details. Thank you!

Minimum educational qualification required to apply for MPPSC Librarian 2018 :

Applicant must have completed bachelor's and master's degree in library science or information science or documentation science from a recognised university or any other equivalent qualification.

Candidate must have secured minimum 55% marks in master's degree which is for general and OBC category candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST category candidates

Candidate must have passed and have a valid score card/certificate of national level examination which is any one of the NET or SET or SLET conducted by UGC or any other equivalent qualification exam conducted by recognised institution/organisation of national level.

Candidates who have completed PhD will get special relaxation in recruitment

Age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 44 years and relaxation in upper age as per government rules which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Candidates can apply for this recruitment at the official website of the MPPSC and pay the fee of this application through online mode before 04th July 2018.

Candidates must know that examination will be conducted through online mode on 18th August 2018 and all candidates are required to be prepared for examination because those who will perform better in exam will be called for interview process so you have to present yourself as the best for this job.

* Educational qualification :-

You must have completed your Graduation Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks and must have qualified NET/ SLET/ SET from a recognized university. Marks relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* Age Limit (as on 01-01-2019):-

Your age must lie within 21 years to 44 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms

Applicants who have passed Graduation Degree with Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or equivalent from a recognized institute with minimum 55% marks and must have qualified NET/SLET/SET are eligible for the MPPSC Librarian recruitment.

Age limit to apply for the MPPSC Librarian recruitment is given below:
Minimum age limit – 21 years and maximum age limit – 44 years
For SC/ST and OBC candidates’ the upper age limit is 44+5 years

As far as you are concerned about the educational qualification and age limit to apply for MPPSC i.e; Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission librarian post recruitment then it is as mentioned below :-
