List jobs in Army after clearing CDS exam?

After clearing the written test and Service Selection Board of Combined Defense Services, you will be selected for the training.

For Indian Army, selected candidates are given training in Indian Military academy of Officer's Training academy. Once training is completed the candidate is posted in different branches of Indian Army like:

>>ASC (Service).

>>AOC ( Ordinance).

>>Artillery.

>>Infantry.

A general approximation is that about 25% of total army is Infantry.

You can also be posted in some other branches of Army like Signals or Intelligence, Accounts section, Logistics section etc.

After clearing CDS exams you will be A grade officer in Indian National Army.
You will be given post of lieutenant after clearing CDS.
And just after training you will be promoted to Captain rank.
