For Block Development Officer Post you have to pass Administrative Service examination conducted by State Public Service Commission.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR BDO EXAM

** The candidate appearing for BDO exam must have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

** The candidate who are in final year of graduation are also eligible for the exam.

AGE LIMIT FOR BDO EXAM

** Minimum age is 21 years and Maximum age is 30 years.

BDO stands for the Block Development Officer and the recruitment on this post is through the state Public Commission Service examination conducted by the state education board every year.

The educational qualification to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed the graduation from a recognised university. The age limitation vary for the different states.

The examination is conducted in the three stages. They are Preliminary, Mains and the Interview. Candidates after qualifying in all the stages are eligible for the jobs.

One must be a Graduate in Arts, Science or Commerce from the recognized university for appearing BDO examination. The age limit is 21 years to 30 years and for 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST will be given. The exam will be conducted by the State Public Service Commission. So, you have to check the state public service commission website for the job vacancies.
