I am a BCA graduate, and What procedure should I follow to get job in government sector

You can find the government jobs after completion of your B.C.A Degree if you really work for it.You can find the employment in the government sectors such as Staff Selection Commission,Union Public Services Commission,Indian Administrative Services,Indian police Services,Indian Foreign services,Civil Services examination,Indian Forest Services and more.

You can not find government job in your field,because your field comes under the Information technology streams.So as the other government sector jobs need only Bachelor Degree,as you have the same Bachelor Degree you can apply for the same.Other than the above jobs you can find work in the Banking sectors as Specialist officers,Probationary officers,Clerical cadre and more.So you can also find the employment in the CRPF,Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) Indian Railways.


As you are very familiar with the concepts such as Scientific computing,Statistics,Programming,Data Management systems,Computer Architecture,Operating systems,Programming in visual basic,Internet and web technologies,distributed computing,finance management concepts you can find your career if you go for the Further studies in the Same field.So you can go for the M.C.A(Masters in Commuter Application field).

Now-a-days ,for most of the Government jobs , the entrance exam syllabus will be ,

~ General knowledge
~ General english
~ Computer knowledge
~ Reasoning
~ Aptitude , etc..

So , in order to get any government job , you shouldbe well prepared in all these topics.

* Being a Graduate you can apply for the post of Subinspector in police department

* you can apply for the Ibps bank clerk exam to join in banking sector.

* you can apply for the CDS exam to join in Defence services. ( army , navy , airforce )
