Sir, I am Shashi from Bihar. I just passed the class 10th by CBSE Board. Now I want to join Indian Air Force. Please discuss Indian air force by my qualifications and reply how I join it?

NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is conducted for recruitment of candidates in defence service.

The eligibility to appear in examination for recruitment in Air Force wing is that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics as main paper. The age limit is 16.5-19. years.

Candidates pursuing in 12th are also eligible.

Only male candidates are eligible to appear in examination.

The examination is conducted in two stages as :-

Written.

SSB.

So, you have to appear and qualify in both stages for final recruitment.

To join Airforce after 10th you have to complete your 12th standard with PCM from recognised board and after that you have an option to appear in NDA exam or after completion of your graduation with science stream has mathematics compulsory subject you can appear in CDS exam because in both the ways you can join Air Force. But according to me it would be better if you qualify NDA exam because in that way you can directly join Airforce without wasting your time.
