Respected Sir, I belongs to SC category and I want to apply in Karnataka State Armed Police Constable recruitment. Can I know what kind of relaxation is available for me in this recruitment? Please help me to know about this.

Relaxation available for SC category candidates of Karnataka State Armed Police Constable Recruitment:

Of course yes. There will be relaxation applicable for SC category candidates for Karnataka State Armed Police Constable recruitment.

The basic age criteria required for General category candidates is as follows. Minimum age required is 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 25 years.

As you belong to SC category, there will be relaxation and age criteria for you is as follows,

>> Minimum age required - 18 years
>> Maximum age allowed - 27 years
Age Criteria is considered as on 5th July, 2018

i.e., You must have born between 5th July, 1991 and 5th July, 2000 (Both days are inclusive)

There are two relaxation available for SC candidates in Karnataka State Armed Police Constable recruitment :

1. There is upper age relaxation of two years for SC and ST candidate.

2. The application fee for SC candidate is only 100 rupees.

SC/ST candidate will have lesser cut off marks as compared to General and OBC candidate.

Being a SC candidate, you are eligible for upper age relaxation of 5 years to apply for Karnataka State Armed Police Constable recruitment. You will also be eligible for application fee concession of Rs. 150/- to apply for Karnataka State Armed Police Constable recruitment.

For SC category candidates, there is relaxation in age as well as marks. You can get age relaxation of up to 5 years and relaxation of 5% marks in the eligibility criteria.

Also, there are some relaxation available in physical requirements, if you belong to any particular region. Seats are reserved for SC candidates separately.
