Please let me know what is the Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard requires to apply in Kolkata Police Constable recruitment? Please reply as soon as possible. Thank you!

Height and Age Required to apply for Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment:

Age Criteria Required :-

>> Minimum Age - 18 years

>> Maximum Age - 27 years

Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal only up to 5 years and 3 years for OBC-A/ OBC-A Candidates of west bengal only.

Height Required :-

>> Minimum Height - 167 cms

>> For Lady constable - 160 cms

To apply for the post of Constable in Kolkata police a candidate must be having height of 167 cm or more. If your height is less than the desired limit will be rejected. Chest minimum expansion must be 78 cm. A candidate minimum age must be 18 years & maximum 27 years. There are age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates.

Kolkata Police Constable recruitment eligibility criteria :-

Education Qualification: pass in Madhyamik Examination under WBBSE or its equivalent examination.

Age limit : 18 to 27 years as on 1st Jan of the year of examination. Age relaxed for OBC candidate by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Relaxation is applicable only for West Bengal citizens only.

Selection Process: selection will be made based on Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written test and interview.

Exam Fee: Rs. 150/- by online payment of challan in Post Office. No fee for SC/ST candidates.

Physical requirements :-

For Male Constable :

Height : 167 cm for general candidate and 160 cm for Gorkha, Rajbansi, ST & Garwali candidates.

Chest : 78 cm for general candidate and 76 cm for Gorkha, Rajbansi, ST & Garwali candidates.

For Lady Constable :

Height :160 cm for general candidate and 152 cm for Gorkha, Rajbansi, ST & Garwali candidates.
