Relaxation available under UPSC Indian Economic Service Examination 2021 for reserved candidates
Hello Sir/Madam, I belong to a reserved category and I want to apply for the Indian Economic Service Examination of UPSC. Can I get any relaxation? What relaxation available for the reserved candidates?

UPSC Indian Economic Services Examination 2021 :
Relaxation for reserved categories Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit should be 30 years for general candidates. There is age relaxation for reserved categories ; 5 years for SC/STs 3 years for OBCs 3 years for Defence Service Personnel disabled in operations 5 years for Ex serviceman 10 years for PWD candidates. There is no application fee for SC, ST and PwD categories as well as female candidates . For more information log on to official website www.upsc.gov.in |

Yes, Relaxation are available under in the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Indian Economic Service Exam 2021 for the reserved category candidates.
** Age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates. ** Fee exemption are available for reserved category candidates. ** Entrance exam Marks relaxation are also available for reserved category candidates. Selection Procedure of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Indian Economic Service Exam 2021 will be based on Written Exam and Personal Interview. Following are relaxations available for reserved category candidates in case of UPSC Indian Economic Service Examination 2021 are as below :-
* Upper age limit relaxation of 3 years in case of OBC category candidates, 5 years in case of SC/ST category candidates and 10 years in case of PwBD category candidates. * Relaxations in Cutoff (Qualification Marks) due to the provision of reservation policy. * Application fee exemption in case of SC/ST and PwBD category candidates. The relaxation available under the UPSC Indian Economic Service Examination 2021 for reserved candidates is in upper age limit for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Domicile candidate of Jammu & Kashmir is 5 years and for Other Backward classes/Defence Service Personnel disabled in operations during hostile is 3 years and for Disabled Persons it is 10 years. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university. The candidate's minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years as of 1st August 2020.
There is a total of 15 vacancies available under this post and the application fee cost for General/OBC candidates is Rs.200 and there is no fee for SC/ST/PH/Female candidates. I am also giving you the website link for your reference that is www.upsc.gov.in |
