Can anyone of you tell me about the roles and responsibilities which a Lower Division Clerk must have in Indian Air Force . I am going to prepare for the exam of this recruitment so I would like to know about the roles and responsibilities first.

Roles are different for LDCs in government offices and in Air Force there is no public dealing at all so the LDC has to manage duties given below :

>> All type administrative support of higher authority

>> Filing disposal and management of documents used everyday in the office.

>> Recording, Indexing, and sorting of unwanted papers from the office.

>> Find if any pendant work lying in the office then that will be entered and completed.

>> All beginning level means entry level work will be done by LDC in Air Force.

>> If any new task or work is to be conducted in the office related to official matter then that work will be begun from LDCs chair

>> Typing and other related work means any letter to be typed for any communication between two offices.

>> LDC will be the first person to handle task and report about his/her work to higher authorities.

>> Accepting of tasks and work allotted by higher officers to LDCs and complete them in given time.

>> LDCs are also responsible to start up any new project or tender came in the office and personal files of any employee working in the office.
