Can I know the salary package given to Lower Division Clerk in Indian Air Force. Actually I have heard about this recruitment of Indian Air Force. So, I am interested to apply in this recruitment. Please tell me about the salary package.

Salary Package or Pay Band offered for the post of Lower Division Clerk in Indian Air Force is given below.

You should have passed 12th Class or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board. The minimum age required to be eligible is 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 25 years. You should have a typing speed of 35 words per minutes for English language and 30 words per minute for Hindi Language.

If you become Lower Division Clerk in Air Force and freshly joins the post LDC then you will receive the following salary :

Your pay scale will be between 5200-20200/- per month

You will get grade pay of rupees 1900/- per month

So total entry pay as per 7th pay commission will be 19900/- per month as your salary.

Except of this salary of rupees 19900/- you will get other allowances which are

HRA around 3000/- per month then Local Conveyance which is 1500/- to 2000/- per month and other benefits in job are such as canteen facility, news paper facility etc. will be provided.

So finally after joining the job as LDC in Air Force you will be paid rupees 25000/- to 26500/- per month after all deductions and inclusion of allowances.

This is good enough salary for the post of LDC in central department and when you will grow in the job you will receive increment which are applied every single year your complete in the job and if you crack some internal exams then your salary will be increased and you will get higher posts in promotion which is Upper Division Clerk then Data Entry Operator etc.

After appointed as clerk can I write exams for promotions because i completed engineering in computer science ..
