I have a desire to become a Fire Operator and just heard about the recruitment of WBPSC. So, can I know about the written test of WBPSC Fire Operator recruitment. Kindly provide me the details of the written test and selection procedure.

The selection of candidates in WBPSC will be based on:

Written Examination.

Physical Measurement Test.

Endurance Test.

Personality Test.

Matriculation is the minimum academic qualification for this exam. The age criteria for the exam is 18-27 years. The last date to apply for exam is 3rd July, 2108.

The selection of candidates is done on basis of following test:

Written test.

Physical test.

Endurance Test.

Personality Test.

The written test contains questions from basis numeracy, general awareness etc. You must have done tenth to apply for exam. The age criteria is 18-27 years.

Selection will be on the basis of written test, physical test, endurance test and personality test. Written exam will have class 10th level questions from subjects like, English, Maths, Reasoning and General Awareness.

You can apply for job online through the official website by filling the application online and uploading the scanned documents.

Recently, WBPSC has notified that they are going to recruit 1452 Fire Operators. Application forms are available in the official website of WBPSC and applicants are need to submit application form before 3rd July, 2018 end of the day.

Selection Procedure:

Selection procedure in WBPSC Fire Operator recruitment and details of written test :

Selection for the posts of Fire Operator will be filled by selection through direct recruitment on the basis of :
-Written examination
-Physical measurement test
-Endurance test
-Personality test

Candidates who will qualify written examination will be called for Physical Measurement Test. Then the candidates who qualify Physical Measurement Test will have to appear in Endurance Test. Candidates who qualify Endurance test will be called for the last round that is Personality Test.

Written test will be conducted by WBPSC at Kolkata and in various other districts of West Bengal on 15th September, 2018.

Distribution of marks :

• Written examination : 80%
• Personality test : 10%
• Desirable qualifications : 10%

The selection process of WBPSC Fire Operator Recruitment consists of the below mentioned rounds. They are,

>> Written Examination

>> Physical Measurement Test

>> Endurance Test

>> Personality Test to be conducted by the Commission.

Candidates who will qualify in written examination will be called for Physical Measurement Test. Candidates who qualify in Physical Measurement test shall be called for Endurance test. And those who successfully qualify in endurance test will be called for Personality Test.

@ Written Examination will be held at several venues in Kolkata and in certain other districts of west bengal.
