Re: Suitable books for preparation of BPSC exam? Tips for preparation?
BPSC(Bihar Public Service Commission) exam is conducted for recruitment of suitable candidates into different Government Agencies of Bihar. At present BPSC has published its notification for recruitment of candidates for Assistant Professor, Deputy Project Director, Assistant Director and Assistant Conservator of Forest posts.
Candidates appearing for these posts are required to have proficient knowledge on Language, Political Science, History, Geography, Zoology, Botany and some Arts oriented subjects. To prepare for this exam you need to have brief knowledge on the above mentioned topics. For checking out the marking pattern practice some previous year question papers then you can know on which topics you need to focus more to get a satisfactory mark. Some books for reference are: -Lucent -NCERT Books -Bihar special Book -Pratiyogita Darpan -An analysis to BPSC (PT) with solved 2011 Paper -Previous years' question bank (Complete Syllabus of BPSC Mains and PT) -Comprehensive Geography by D.R Khullar -Indian Polity by M. Laxmikant -Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh |

Quote:
-Arihant objective general science -General Knowledge and current affairs by khanna and verma -Ramesh intelligence test/ mental ability test by RPH editorial board -Linear algebra - KC prasad, KB Datta -calculus - Shanthi Narayanan -Vector analysis - Shanthi narayanan You must have good knowledge about current events of national and international importance, History of india and indian movement, indian and world geography, indian polity and economy, general mental ability question, algebra, trigonometry and calculus. In english you have to prepare for spotting of error, antonyms and synonyms, test of spelling, idioms/phrases and use of prepositions by referring NCERT books. Self assessment is an important preparation. Plan your studies at least 2 months prior to exam. Questions can be asked from every nook and corner of the subject and therefore it is not all advisable to omit any chapter or area. Practise as many mock test as possible in close to examination environment as possible. During preparation avoid oily food just and avoid anxiety before exam. |
