Without matriculation, you can't apply for any decent job in Indian Army. Only those who have passed class 10th can apply for various jobs like Soldier and other small posts.

Even for tradesman job, you need to have some sort of skills like ITI qualification. Hence, it is very necessary to complete 10th.
