Sir, I will became an ex-serviceman after one year and my age becomes 38 years. What is the age relaxation for applying bank PO/clerk as an ex-serviceman and I had completed graduation.

The age limit required to apply for Bank PO examination is 20 years to 30 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to ex-service men to be eligible to apply for Bank PO examination.

For Bank Clerk examinations, the minimum age limit to appear is 20 years and maximum age limit is 28 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to ex-service men to be eligible to apply for Bank Clerk examination.

PO stands for Probationary Officer. IBPS conducts entrance examination for Probationary officer in different banks. Age limit for clerk and Probationary officer:

>>20-28 years for Clerk.

>>20-30 years for Probationary officer.

For Ex Serviceman, upper age relaxation of five years is given. You are at present 38 years and hence not eligible for Clerk and Probationary officer.

To be a bank clerk or bank probationary officer in any nationalized bank of India you are required to qualify bank examination such as IBPS bank examination or SBI bank entrance examination.

--> Also for applying for these examinations the qualifications which you must possess are as here under :-

* You must be an Indian applicant with your age lying within 20 years to 28 years for the post of bank clerk and 21 years to 30 years for the post of bank probationary officer. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms which is 10 years in case of exservicemen category candidates.

* You must have completed your graduation degree course in any stream from a recognized university.

* You must have good communication skills along with basic knowledge of working on computers.

So being 38 years old you are eligible for getting bank jobs at the post of probationary officer as per your age criteria but you must follow the other requirements too.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam.

Your age should be 20 to 28 years.

What is the eligibility criteria for ex servicemen and qualification for Sbi clerk?

Respected sir/madam, I have been serving in the CRPF for the past 17 years concurrently registered with district employment office for higher post upon the qualification .i.e ( 2,UG,PG.,). In the event i got the opportunity through aforesaid source in our home state i would be send on deputation.
THE QUESTION IS, If i return to parent dept and resign (V.R.S.,) the job post 03 years of lien period availed Will the service be calculated as 20 years completed?

Sir, please intimate upper age of exserviceman for apply to Bank PO. A person of 48 yrs ex can apply for bank PO. Regards
