My age is 48 years right now and i am an ex-serviceman. I am B.Sc. qualification. I wish to join Banking service now. But i am confused about my age. So tell me what is the age limit for ex-serviceman for bank jobs?

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for Banking sector.

Your age should be in between 18 to 30 years.

Age relaxation:-

SC/ST- 5 years

OBC- 3 years

Ex-Servicemen ( Unreserved)- 5 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC)- 8 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST)- 10 years

For banking jobs there is normal age limit of 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation of 10 years available for ex-servicemen category.

It will be difficult for you to become eligible because you are 48 years old. Even after relaxation there is very little chance for you.

Age of candidate must be from 21 to 30 years in order to apply for the post of Clerk and PO in Bank.
Additional relaxation of 10 years is provided to the candidates who are ex-servicemen excluding their service period.
So, if you have served more than 8 years then you are eligible for bank jobs.

Only in banking services, maximum age limit of 50 years is there for Ex-servicemen. Is there any other Government service or public sector undertaking in which maximum age limit of 50 years or more than 50 years has been provisioned by Govt of India? Please intimate the same so that Ex-servicemen may get benefit for their next innings of life.

Sir I served in BSF and retired from service, my date of birth is 26/10/72, are there any chance of employment on government sector under ex-servicemen quota , kindly please suggest and inform for further livelyhood and survival please
