BANK PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The common eligibility criteria for Bank PO exams are as follows...

-> The candidate must be citizen of India.

-> The minimum age must not be less than 21 years.

-> The maximum age must not be greater than 30 years.

-> The candidate must have obtained any of the following

-> Post graduation degree from a recognized University

-> Masters in Computer Application from a recognized University

-> Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE./BTech) from a recognized University

-> The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks as aggregate in the relevant degree examinations.


POINTS TO NOTE :

-> However the above given eligibility criteria differs with different bank PO exams, like relaxation of age and educational qualification...

-> So check out the eligibility criteria for the particular bank which you are going to apply and prepare for it accordingly...

Eligibility criteria for the post of Probationary officer are as follows
1] The applicant must hold his/ her Degree of Graduation from a government
recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% in order to appear in
the Bank’s Probationary Officer exam.
2]The minimum age of the candidate prescribed by the authorities of the bank is 21 years for fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the Dena bank. a person younger to this age
limit is not applicable to sit in the bank’s PO examination.
3]. The maximum age limit of the candidate prescribed by the authorities of the bank
is 30 years to be recruited as the bank Probationary Officer. A person of more than 30 yrs
of the age cannot apply for the post of PO in Dena Bank.
4]. Candidate must be a citizen of India. People belonging to other nationalities are
by no means allowed to be a part of the above mentioned examination.
5]The applicant must have the basic banking knowledge and skills to be a
part of the above mentioned programme .
6]The applicant must possess a good command over computer applications
to be a part of the above mentioned programme.

BANK PO EXAM DETAILS


Bank probationary officer is a good profile post in any bank.Candidates can be recruited as BANK PO after clearing the bank PO exam of respective bank.So, it's all depends on your performance in the exam.

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 year.They will get a starting pay scale of around 12000/-.

They will also be eligible for D.A., H.R.A. & C.C.A. as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly emoluments of Probationary Officers, including D.A., H.R.A. and C.C.A., are approximately Rs.17000/- at Metropolitan centres.

Eligiblity criteria for this exam

Candidates must be nationality of india.
Candidates must have completed their graduation with at least 60%(in some bank it is 50-55%) from arecognised university.
Candidates must be computer literate to be eligible for this course.
Candidates must be above the 21 year of age but not more than 30.

Selection Procedure
a) Tier I - Preliminary Examination: Time 2 Hrs. (combined)
Candidates will be called for an objective type examination. The objective type examination will consist of
i) Reasoning Ability Test
ii) Quantitative Aptitude
iii) General Awareness/Computer Knowledge
iv) English Language
b) Tier II - Main Test: Time 3 Hrs. (combined)
Main test will be an Objective and Descriptive type examination.
The objective type examination of 2 hours duration will consist of :
i) Test of Reasoning
ii) Data Analysis and Interpretation
iii) Marketing Knowledge
iv) Test of English Language
The Descriptive type examination will be a test of English knowledge - Time 60 Minutes
C) Tier III - Group Discussion & Interview:
Qualifying candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview and the shortlisted candidates from Tier III will be considered for final selection to the post of probationary officer.
NOTE: Candidates have to pass both in Tier II & Tier III for final selection.

1.the candidates should be a graduate from any discipline having 60% mark in graduate label ,
10+2 60% also ,from a recognize university.
2.the age limit is 22 - 30 years ,
relaxation for sc / st & obc candidates,.

As per the notice of 1st May 2011 that the age limit for Bank PO Job is not below 21 years and not more than 30 years.

age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC categories.

For applying Bank PO jobs age should be above 20 years but should be less than 30 years.

Hey friend,

Bank PO is held for the post of probationary officer in the bank which is helding it.

The eligibility criteria changes from bank-bank but as far regarding the age limit it does not change.

As you have asked for the age limit of Bank PO it is that the candidate who are from general category should have 21-30 years of age.

The candidates from SC/ST should have a age limit of 21-35 years.

The candidates from OBC should have a age limit of 21-30 years.

The candidates who are Ex-service men will get 5 years exception.

Whereas regarding the education qualification the candidate must have a degree from a recognized university.

Eligibility criteria for Bank PO Exam:

Minimum graduation degree from any stream from any recognized university.
Minimum age is 21 years
Maximum age is 30 years.

The age limit is to applying for Bank PO jobs is 21-30 years but the condition is that the age should not less than 21 and nor more than 30 years.
