~~During final year of engineering, you can apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. If you score well and obtain good ranks within top 300-500, you will get opportunities for jobs in Public Sector Undertakings like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL etc. ~~ If you want to become IAS, IPS, IFS officer, you can appear for the Civil Services examinations conducted by UPSC. ~~For defense sector, you can appear for Combined Defense Services. ~~Indian Engineering Services - the most preferred career for civil engineers. So there is lots of opportunity for civil engineers, you need to decide which is the best career option for you. |
