Indian Statistical Services examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year. 2013 exam has been already completed. 2014 notification will be released in the month of February or March in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news paper.
Eligibility Criteria :- The candidate should have a completed Post-Graduate degree in Statistical/Mathematical Statistical/Applied Statistical from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and no percentage bar required. Minimum Qualifying marks is enough to appear for this examination. The candidate who are studying in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for this examination. But the candidate need to submit the exam passed proof before appearing of Personal Interview. The candidate must be physically and mentally fit while appearing for this examination. The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination. Relaxation is exits as per Government Rules. The Recruitment Process will be divided into Written Examination, Personal Interview followed by Physical Test and Medical Test. Examination Pattern :- General Studies, General English, Statistical - I, Statistical - II, Statistical - III, Statistical - IV. As per Schedule of UPSC 2014 the ISS Exam Important dates are :- -Date of Notification :- 08.12.14 -Last date for receipt of application :- 10.03.14 -Date of examination :- 24.05.14 |

Indian statistics service ( ISS) conducted by UPSC once a year.
Must obtained a Bachelor's degree with statistics/ mathematics statistics applied statics as one of the subjects. Candidates should hold master's degree in statistics/ mathematics, applied statistics from recognised University or foreign university approved by the Central government of India. Age limit:- 21 years to 30 years. Relaxation for sc/st : 5 year Obc: 3 years. Maximum 5 years relaxation for ex- serviceman including commissioned officers. |
