Indian Statistical Services Statistics- 1 Papers
Statistics is one such paper, wherein just good preparation would not assure you a better score. What else is required is the better understanding of the paper pattern and how the questions are asked.
How many Sections Are There In The Paper
There are three sections in this paper as Section A, Section B and Section C. Out of these three sections, the first two has equal number of questions and that would be 4.
Time and marks:
For 200 marks, you would be given 3 hours. Accuracy is what you’d need the most along with a good preparation.
Paper Pattern:
The Statistics- 1 paper of the Indian Statistical Services is the paper which is required to be completed in the provided time limit of three hours by the candidates. The total marks that could be secured in this paper is 200. There are total 8 questions in this paper and you are to write the paper in English. Of the total 8 questions, only 5 questions are required to be answered.
Each question of the paper contains equal marks. The questions 1 and 5 are the necessary one. Only three questions are required to be attempted correctly besides the questions 1 and 5 with 1 question compulsory from each section. Instructions are clearly given on the first page of the question paper. Any assumptions made by the candidates must be stated clearly. The questions are subjective cum numerical type. There is no negative marking for any mistake. The questions are generally from the probability, data table etc. candidates will be credited with extra marks for their to the point answers.
