To join NCC there are few criteria which the candidate needs to fulfil the candidates should be the citizen of India or subject of Nepal. The minimum qualification is the candidate should have completed his/her matriculation from a recognized board of education and the age should be in between 13 to 18.5 years if you fulfil all this requirements then you are eligible for junior wing and for senior wing the candidate should have completed his 10+2 from a recognized board of education and the maximum age limit to join the senior wings is 26 years. The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms and the eyesight should be 6/6 for better eye and for worse eye 6/18.

You can join NCC after completion of your 10th boards and as you have completed your 12th boards, you can very much join NCC in nearby institute.

Educational Qualification required to join NCC:

There is a certain eligibility criteria that is required in order to join NCC. Here is the basic eligibility criteria that is to be maintained.

>> You must have been enrolled in an Educational Institution

>> You must be an Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal

>> For joining Junior Division : Minimum age is 13 years and maximum age must not exceed 18.5 years

>> For Senior Division : Maximum age must not exceed 26 years

>> Yes, you are eligible to join NCC after successful completion of 12th Class and there is a separate enrollment period of Junior Division and Senior Division.

Qualification to join NCC:-

The candidate should have passed graduation degree from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification with aggregate of minimum 50% marks.

The age of candidate must be between 19 years to 25 years.

(a) Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal.
(b) Bearing good moral character.
(c) Enrolled in an educational institution.
(d) Meets the prescribed medical standards.
(e) Age
Junior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) - 13 years to 18½ years
Senior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) - Upto 26 years
(f) Enrolment Period

Junior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) - 2 years
Senior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) - 3 years
