Is B.Tech from Institution of Civil Engineers, Ludhiana, Panjab valid for public service commission/public engineering services job?
Dear Sir, I have passed in AMIC(I) equivalent to B.Tech from Institution of Civil Engineers (India), Ludhiana, Panjab. Please tell me, is this certificate valid for Public service commission/public engineering services.

I am happy to tell you that definitely a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from Institute of Civil Engineers is valid for public service commission and public engineering services.
Candidates those who have completed their B.Tech degree from a recognised University are definitely eligible for public service commission. |

Actually AMICE is not a degree at all. It is a degree level course offered by Institute of Civil Engineers Ludhiana. However, this course was valid for session 2007-08 only as per MHRD guidelines. Thereafter, its recognition was not extended. I have all the documents and relevant RTIs with me which prove my stance. This course was never recognised by AICTE, and for only one year by MHRD.
