Re: Can Biology students appear for IAS exam?
Yes, Biology students are eligible to appear for IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission. But in order to appear in IAS Examination, you must have completed Graduate Degree (Bachelor Degree) in any discipline from a recognized university. There are many Optional subjects available in Civil Services Examination. Some of the optional subjects are, Zoology, Law, Indian History, Botany, Chemistry, Anthropology, Agriculture, Medical Science, Statistics, Sociology, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Civil Engineering and Economics subjects. So do not worry, Biology students can appear in IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Examination with no doubt. You must need to choose the above mentioned optional subjects.
