Can XII passed from commerce stream do B.Sc home science without studying it at XI and XII ? Can it be done by correspondence?

No, the candidate who has passed 12th standard with Commerce stream are not eligible to pursue B.Sc. Home Science course. To be eligible to pursue B.Sc. Home Science course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCB stream from a recognised board. Since, you have not pursued your 12th standard with PCB stream, you are not eligible to pursue B.Sc. Home Science course.

B.Sc. Home Science or Bachelor of Science in Home Science is an undergraduate Home Science professional course. The duration of this course is three years.

For this course candidate must have passed 12th class in any stream from a recognized board. Also candidate must have study English and at least one subject from home science. In reputed college, the admission of candidate will be done on the basis of entrance examination.

As you say you have not studied home science in your 11th and 12th class then you are not eligible for Bachelor of Science in Home Science course.

Sorry that you are eligible to apply for B.Sc in Home science after 12th in Commerce stream. Only science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject students are eligible to apply.

B.Sc in Home Science Eligibility Criteria:

The admission to the B.Sc in Home science are done on the basis of qualifying class 12th examinations in (PCB) stream from a recognized university.

Applicants must have passed/appearing in the class 12th can apply for the B.Sc in Home science course.

Being a Commerce stream student you can apply for the courses such as,

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing BSc Home Science Degree is qualifying the 12th or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognised board. Some reputed colleges demand PCB studied at plus two level. Some of the reputed colleges and Institute demand a minimum of 50% marks in 12th has qualifying criteria to secure admission in this degree course and also conduct examination to get admission in there BSc home science degree course.
Selection to the degree course in the colleges is based on the marks secured in the final merit list that is the total marks aggregated in the final exam of 12th and entrance exam.

Basic eligibility criteria required to pursue BSc in home science is 12th in any discipline from a recognised board. As you have passed your 12th standard with commerce stream hence you are eligible to pursue BSc home science degree course.
Some of the reputed colleges also conduct entrance exam to recruit the candidates to this course otherwise you can take admission through the basis of your marks obtained in 10th standard in private college.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to opt for B.Sc in Home Science after the completion of class 12th with Commerce.
Since you have studied Commerce in class 12th, you should opt Graduate course in Commerce field.
