After completion of Diploma in ECE branch, you have two choices in your career. First one is to continue your studies and the second one is to do a job in the related companies.

If you are interested to continue your studies, then you need to appear for the Lateral Entry Entrance Examination (LEET) to get admission in the B.E/B.Tech course. After qualifying the LEET examination, you can directly get admission in the second year of the B.E/B.Tech course. If you are interested to do a job, then you need to apply for the jobs in both the private and government sectors. But, there are many less job opportunities for the Diploma ECE students in both the Government and Private sectors. So, I suggest you to complete the graduation degree from any recognised university, then, you can find many job opportunities in both the Government and Private sectors.

You have two options after your diploma in ECE. You can either go for higher studies or you can go for jobs. I would suggest you to go for higher studies because:-

- You can get better salaried and high profile jobs.
- Your scope of job opportunities will widen up.
- You can easily grow in any company.

You can go for higher studies like BE in ECE, B.Tech in ECE, B.Tech in E&TC. Apart from that you can also switch disciplines and go for studies in management or computer applications field.

You can go for jobs if you want. For that, most of the private organizations do not prefer diploma ECE candidates except Telecom companies which recruit for the post of Tower Maintenance. Apart from that, you can go for PSUs like BHEL,BEL, NTPC, ONGC, SAIL, DRDO, etc.

Yes, after the diploma, you can apply for the jobs whose eigibility criteria is diploma.

You can also continue the studies by taking the admission in Engineering.

If you want to get into Engineering then there is a special examination for the diploma fellows named LEET.

LEET >>>> Lateral Entry Engineering Test.

If you qualify in the Test then you will be allotted a seat in the engineering college based on the rank in the examination and your diploma percentage.

You will be given the admission in directly in the 2nd year of engineering.
