You can opt for any course in Graduation to be eligible to appear in UPSC examination. UPSC conducts various examinations like IAS, IPS, IES, IFS, etc. Most of the UPSC examinations requires the minimum educational qualification of Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university. So, you can opt for any course in which you are interested in Graduation and after completion of the course, you are eligible to appear in UPSC examination.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Examinations :-
1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must be in between 21-30 years old. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

3. You must have completed Graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

4. You must be Physically fit.

The stream of graduation is actually nothing to do with the subjects of UPSC. But, as per my reccomendation if you are a science student then please continue with that because experiences have shown that a science students has enough capabilities to handle out any subject beautifully. Also it will help you with the CSAT in prelims. And if you are not from science stream then take the subject you are comfortable with so that you can it in mains ad your optional paper.
Thanks a lot
