How can I join in Defence sector, after 10+2 qualification in commerce stream ?

you can join the defense services after the graduation by giving the exam IDS Indian defense services.

if you complete the graduation and if you belongs to 21 to 30 age then you can give IDS exam . this is the exam conducted by the union public service commission ( UPSC ).

Yes, my friend you can join in defense sector after completion of your graduation not after 12th..
for that you have to appear in CDS(combined defense service) exam which is conducted by UPSC..
The eligibility criteria of CDSE-
1.you have to complete your graduation first in any branch..
2.your age should be in between 21-25 years..
3.you must be physically fit....
if you have done your 12th in science with PCM then you can apply for defense after your 12th through NDA(national defense academy)..
As you have done your 12th in commerce then first complete your graduation after that you can apply for defense sector..

For joining in Indian Airfoce/ Navy by writing CDA and NDA entrance exam.

is conducted by UPSC.


Eligibility:

Passed in 10th and 12th with (PCM) with minimum of 70% marks.

Candidate should be unmarried

Age limit: 16 to 20 years

candidate must have 6/6 eyesightin each eye with or without glasses

Minimum Height of the candidate is 157.5 with chest expansion of 5cm.

so you are not eligible for NDA.

Defence academy examination. This examination is conducted by
the UPSC twice in a year. To apply for this examination you need the

Well the best way for you to join defense is through ARMY .For that you can apply for NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC twice a year to select students for officer rank in ARMY,AIR FORCE and NAVY.Since you are commerce students that means that you can not join AIR FORCE AND NAVY .You have only option left is ARMY.

Eligibility for NDA::

You must have completed you class 12th from any stream for army and for navy and air force it you should have maths and physics as a compulsory subjects.
Your age should be between 161/2 to 19 years .

There will be written exam mainly consist of two papers ::
1.MATHS
2.General awareness :: which includes English , Gk, science .

If you clear written exam then you will get call for SSB from one of these three cities only::

1.ALLAHABAD
2.BANGLORE
3.BHOPAL

If you clear SSB too then your medical test will be done and if you clears that too then you will get recommended .

as you are a commerce student if you will be an graduate
then you can join in a higher post .

The qualification required for joining the Defence after 10+2 is different for male candidates and female candidates. Female candidates can join the defence sector only after their graduation. Mae candidates can become an officer in the Defence sector after 10+2. For this they have to get through the UPSC exam, the SSB interview and the medical test. For a candidate of the commerce stream the only option for them is to join the Army. This is because the navy and airforce takes in candidates who are 10+2 with physics and maths.

After 10+2 in commerce stream you can apply only for Army through NDA examination conducted by UPSC.

To apply for Air Force and Navy a candidate needs to have PCM in 10+2.Since you are from commerce stream you cannot apply for Air Force & Navy.
