To become an Aeronautical Engineer after completion of your 10th standard, you have to pursue 11th, 12th standard with Non-Medical Science stream and you have to choose Aeronautical Engineering stream for pursuing B.Tech course. You have to appear and qualify the engineering entrance examinations like JEE, EAMCET, etc., and participate in the counselling process to get admission for pursuing Aeronautical Engineering course. The duration of Aeronautical Engineering course is 4 years and the salary depends on the company you join and it may start from 4 to 6 lakhs per annum.

In order to [pursue Aeronautical engineering, you must complete your 12th standard with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects with minimum 60% marks from a recognized board. For admissions in IIT you have to appear for JEE examination and for admission in other colleges you can appear for state/national level engineering entrance examinations.

To get admission in a particular engineering college, first of all you have to achieve the cut off marks of the college. Then you can contact the particular college and gt the admission process from them. The duration of the course is 4 years and an aeronautical engineer gets an average salary of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 1. 20 lakhs per month.
