I am Kartik Dodeja lives in Mumbai. I have completed my 12th in this year. And I am very much interested in Automobile Designing and want admission in NID for undergraduate course. So, my question is, that how can I apply for NID entrance exam and what is the pattern of entrance exam papers?

# NID stands for National institute of Design.

# If you have expressed the wish to appear in NID Entrance Examination. Bit it is informed to you that NID Entrance Examination has held on January 2016. You have missed the opportunity. Now you can appear next year.

# General procedure for applying online for NID Entrance Examination:

* Visit the official website i.e. http://admissions.nid.edu
* Now candidate has to sign up and fill the application form correctly.
* Thereafter candidate has to upload his/her photograph and signature. However, the uploaded photograph must be in JPEG format and below 100kb size. Similarly, the uploaded signature must be in JPEG format and below the 100 kb size.
* Remit the application fee only.
* After successful online submission of application, candidate has to take the print of application form.

# General syllabus for NID Entrance Examination:

* General Mental Ability
* reasoning Ability
* general Knowledge
* Sensitivity to Environment
* Communication skill
* Drawing skills
* Composition
* Creativity

# Other detailed information regarding NIOD Entrance Examination:

* Total marks allotted to the question papers is 100 marks.
* Question paper is of objective type.
* Duration of the examination is of three hours.
* Language of the question paper is English.
* Question paper is divided into following two sections

= Section A (70 marks)
= Section B (30 marks)
