How Honours course is different from General for B.Com candidate?
Sir,
Now I am doing B.Com General from Vidyasagar University. Is there any big difference between Honours and General studies? Please tell me about the differences. Thank you! |

Re: How Honours course is different from General for B.Com candidate?
This condition applies for all the courses as there are two kinds of courses for the same degree.
* General * Honors The basic difference between these two is * In General course, you are taught the subjects related to the field only. * In honors, you are taught some or the other managerial skills also. Difficulty wise, an hons. course is a bit difficult as their are more number of subjects to be studied and more number of papers to be cleared throughout the whole course. |

Re: How Honours course is different from General for B.Com candidate?
There is a light difference between B.Com and B.Com (Hons) course.
The honors degree is considered superior to General course. For Honors degree the candidate has to opt any specialization in the final year, where it is not available for general candidate's. The completion of general degree is 3 years while honors degree is 4 years. For honors degree subjects the subjects are taught in depth while an overview of subjects are taught in general degree. |
