Hospitality Management deals with hospitality that is an essential part in various hotels and tourism sectors. Knowing its significance various colleges and universities have taken interest in providing degrees in Hospitality Management.

Degrees conferred by different institutes in India are:

Bachelor of Science in Aviation
B.T.M. (Bachelor of Tourism Management)
B.H.M. (Bachelor of Hotel Management)
DAHTM (Diploma in Aviation-Hospitality & Tourism Management)

For all the courses to be eligible a student must acquire minimum 45% in 12th with PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Math)

There are many colleges in India offering this course and admission procedure vary from one college to another. Some offer admission on the basis of 12th marks and some offer on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the University.

For entrance examination, you must have at least 50% marks in your 12th class from a recognized board of education. Most of the entrance examination will surely demand above 50% marks marks, although there is relaxation of 5% marks from reserved category candidates.

Hence, if you have above 50% marks in 12th, then you must not worry about anything and be prepared for the entrance exam because admission in a top colleges is based on the rank in the entrance exam.
