Yes there are many entrance tests for admission in mass media.First of all there is an All India Journalism Entrance Exam which is conducted by IIMC (Indian Institute Of Mass Communication ).If you pass this exam you are offered with a variety of courses in public relations, journalism and advertising. But there are some eligibility criterias for appearing this entrance exams like you should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and should also adhere the age criteria.

Also there are many colleges and universities which offer you with entrance examinations in this field .For example Asian college of journalism also provides you with entrance exams qualifying whom you can pursue your postgraduate degree courses and diploma courses in print, new media, television and radio courses.

Eligibility criteria for this examination is graduation in any discipline and students awaiting their degree results are eligible to apply for the entrance test for ASJ.Similarly there are many colleges and universities offering graduation and postgraduation courses entrance tests. There is another entrance test for this field and that is CJET DU:Combined Journalism Entrance Exam .Eligibility criteria for this exam is aggregate 60% marks in 12th class (55% for reserved classes) and the candidate should have 60 marks in english.
Similarly many colleges and Universities offer their own entrance exams for mass media .To name few of them are Jamia Milia Islamia University,Manipal Institute Of Communication,Xavier Mumbai, Institute of Communication.

But the eligibility criteria for these entrance tests is different in case of different colleges and universities.Hope it helped.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
