What all are the criteria to get an admission in a BAMS college? Is there any entrance? What are the total number of seats in BAMS colleges in Kerala?

BAMS refers to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery it is a 5 and a half years course. There are lots of colleges offering this course, so to get admission in these colleges to pursue this course you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
> Candidate should have completed their 12th standard or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and biology subjects with high percentage of marks from a recognized board. > Candidates who have studied sanskrit as their subject in 12th standard will get more preference. To apply for this course you have to appear for entrance examinations like > AIPMT. > PGIMER. > AIIMS. The selection of the candidates is based on the marks secured in the 12th examination and in the entrance examination. The number of seats available in BAMS colleges, Kerala is 60 to 120. After clearing the entrance examinations the seats will be filled by the selected candidates. So, as a result to get admission in BAMS colleges you must score good marks in the above mentioned entrance examinations. Best of luck. |

Eligibility criteria to get admission in BAMS:-
The candidate should have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised University. Candidate must score at least 50% marks at 12th standard level. Age limit: The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age is 25 years. Top B A M S College in Kerala:- Kerala University of Health science- (THIS) Thrissur, Kerala KMCT Ayurveda Medical College Kozhikode, Kerala Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College (AAMC ) Palakkad, Kerala Government Ayurveda college, Kannur, Kerala Viadyaratnam Ayurveda College, Thrissur, Kerala Total number of seats in BMS College:- A Total of 100 seats of BAMS course are available. |

To get admission in BAMS degree, candidates must have to satisfy the required eligibility criteria.
Candidates those who have completed their class 12th or equivalent from a recognised Board with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate and 60% in PCB are eligible to opt for MBBS course. You have to appear in the Entrance examination, qualifying in which you can take admission to study the said course. |

The minimum eligibility criteria to get admission in BAMS course is 12th with physics, chemistry and Biology as main subjects from a recognised board with at least 50% marks and it should not be less than 17 in order to appear in the entrance exam conducted by various universities in your state. Moreover once you qualify the entrance exam you can get admission in government college.
There are private as well as government B A M S colleges in Kerala hence you can consult to the particular college. |

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in BAMS college is that the candidate should have completed their +2 level of education from a recognized board with science stream.
The candidate will after that have to appear for AIPMT entrance test and after clearing the examination with good score, he/she will be very much eligible to avail admission in BAMS college, kerala. |

The basic educational qualification required to get admission in BAMS course is as follows. >> 12th Class in 10+2 pattern from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects >> BAMS course (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is an undergraduate course and the duration of this course is 5 1/2 years. >> The intake capacity for this course basically varies from institute to institute. >> For some of the colleges the number of seats may be 50 and for some it may be 40 seats. |
