CDS exam date:
CDS exam in Delhi will be held on 15-01-2015. CDS preparation: . Start preparing for your exam as earlier as possible. . Solve previous year CDS question papers. . Clear your doubts and try to have knowledge in depth, not only for your CDS exam but for futher benefits also. . You should have a good knowledge in Mathematics. go through the matriculation books thoroughly that will enable you to score well in your exam. . Concentrate well on English paper. . Should read newspapers daily and go through news channels as much as possible. . Go through various CDS books for better preparation. |

Combined Defence Service(CDS) will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) on 15th February 2015.
The syllabus mainly contains English, General knowledge and Elementary Mathematics i.e.,Matriculation level. PREPARATION TIPS: * Reading of Newspaper can help the candidate to improve the English language and also helps to know about the various things in and around the world. * Refer the grammar books to clear the concepts of English. * In Mathematics, the questions are expected from basic level.It is helpful to make yourself strong on the concepts like Arithmetic, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, Basic statistics. * It is advisable to solve the previous question papers. CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice the year in the month of February and October all over India on the same date.
The exam is divided into 3 parts. 1. English 2. General Knowledge 3. Mathematics. * For English you should prefer the Verbal Reasoning by RS Aggarwal * For GK portion you need to be in touch with the current affairs and should be good at History and Geography of India. * For mathematics you should concentrate on basic Maths (Upto 10th level) and you can prefer the Quantitative Aptitude by RS Aggarwal. |
