What types of activities will we have to do in ips training...and is there is necessary to pass the training separate???

Candidates have to appear for the following Training for IPS Officers:

Foundation course at LBSNAA, Mussoorrie for three months
Phase I Training at NPA, Hyderabad for 11 months
District Practical Training for Six months
Phase II Training at NPA, Hyderabad for one month

Training includes indoor and outdoor subjects. Outdoor subjects include Physical Fitness – athletics, sports, Gym, cross country race up to 20 km, Weapons Training – Revolver, various Pistols, Hand Grenades, Assault Training, Rock Climbing, First Aid, Basic Swimming, Horse Riding etc.
