I am pursuing 3rd year of Mechatronics Engineering and would like to do induction training in Automation from Defence Research and Development Laboratory. How to approach for training?

You can simply contact your college regarding the internship and they will speak up with the authorities and get you the permission for internship. Just get a recommendation letter from the training and placement of your college mentioning the area of your training and send it with your resume to the HR department of the company. If you get selected then you have to follow their instructions and complete the selection procedure in order to start your training.
