Are training degrees by private institutions valid for Teaching job?

Respected sirs,

I wish to know if Teacher Training degrees other than B.Ed are legible for
the teacher's job or not. Due to binding reasons if one is unable to pursue
the B.Ed course and has a certificate to the effect of an equivalent certificate , will he/she not be cosidered? I have done my Sr. Teachers'
Training from St. Thomas College, Kolkata and have been teaching for more than a decade.

Kindly enlighten me on this at the earliest.

Thanking you,

yours sincerely,

Benjamin Raj.

Any teaching training certificate or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institute or university is accepted for teaching jobs. In fact in private schools you can get teaching job based on your credentials without B.Ed also.

In government schools B.Ed or its equivalent is very much required for getting a permanent teaching job. Selection is mostly based on the performance in CTET/TET.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
