As a certified igcse teacher in Hisory,i want to know what other benefit we can get apart from training in cie organised courses. Is it possible to get overseas job placement? If it is what agency will facilitate this? I feel there is the need to expand my horizon outside teaching only in Nigeria. Training should cut across national and ethnic boundaries. Even across continents. We have people of other continents coming over to Africa to teach and increase their teaching experience and improve their cv, for those of us here, we can only achieve more if we experience cross cultural collaboration by teaching outside our shores. CIE may set up training programmes that will facilitate mobility of labour that will fill this yearning gap.
