I am confused between doing internship and doing project in an company. I mean i want to know that doing internship and doing project are the same things or not?

No, internship and doing project in a company are not the same. However, there is a very small difference between the two. Doing project may or may not be for the client or the organization. On, the other pursuing internship means you need to deliver to the client which means for project, there might or might not be real time delivery for business purpose whereas for internship there has to be real time delivery for business purpose. Internship is more kind of contractual job.
