Can someone do tell me that What are the admission formalities of phd in arabic? I want to do the P.hd in arabics from a good institute.

PhD in Arabic is offered by many institutes in India. Almost all Universities have the same admission formalities. For example, I will mention the admission formalities of Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi.

Eligibility:

• Need to have minimum 55% in post graduation
• Can also have 55% in the specific field in which you are interested to do PhD

Selection Process:

• Fill the application form which can be downloaded from http://jmi.nic.in/
• Written Test and
• Interview

Written Test:

It is conducted in two papers. Paper A and Paper B

Paper A includes,

• Aptitude
• English Comprehension
• Logical Reasoning
• Writing
• Reading

Paper B includes Subjective questions which you are going to take in PhD as both Multiple Choice Questions and descriptive questions.

Selected candidates from written test will be called for interview and then given the time to prepare synopsis on a topic for selected candidates of interview.

Selected candidates of interview should provide synopsis including,

• Topic of research
• Objectives
• Current state of literature
• Proposed Research work
• Methodology
• References
