Hi, I am Bhavneet Kour from Rajasthan. I want to do Ph.D. in HR from IMT Gazhiabad. I have scored 5.9 CGPA in MBA from ICFAI University. Am i eligible for PhD?

You can convert your CGPA score to percentage and see if it is above 55% marks then you can apply for admission. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.

Your score is 5.9 CGPA which doesn't seem to be above 55% marks according to the calculation. Your only chance will be when you belong to reserved category.

You have completed MBA degree with 5.9 CGPA so you are eligible for Ph.D course.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria.

The candidate can apply for PhD in IGNOU. The eligibility to do a PhD is IGNOU is MPhil and Post Graduation with 55% marks or a Master’s degree with 55% marks and five years of teaching/industry/administration/professional experience at senior level. It is the basic eligibility and regarding the course duration it is from 2 to 5 years. There is no age limit.
