Should I have to appear in NET, GATE or ICMR for the admission in Ph.D programme in India if completed PG in Bioinformatics having 2 years of work experience?
Hello
I am a post graduate in Bioinformatics working as Database curator(Jr.scientist) in a core Bioinformatics company. I have 2yrs of job experience. As I cant see any growth in company I want to get enrolled in Phd. Is it necessary to clear NET, GATE, ICMR, etc exams to get enrolled in Phd in India. |

You can apply for Ph.D admission based on your present qualification too, but you need to appear for written exam conducted by the concerned university.
Those who have NET/SET/JRF/ICMR/GATE score, are eligible for interview stage directly. Hence, it would be better to qualify any of these exams, to have good chance of admission. |
