Should I have to appear in NET, GATE or ICMR for the admission in Ph.D programme in India if completed PG in Bioinformatics having 2 years of work experience?

Hello
I am a post graduate in Bioinformatics working as Database curator(Jr.scientist) in a core Bioinformatics company. I have 2yrs of job experience. As I cant see any growth in company I want to get enrolled in Phd. Is it necessary to clear NET, GATE, ICMR, etc exams to get enrolled in Phd in India.

You can apply for Ph.D admission based on your present qualification too, but you need to appear for written exam conducted by the concerned university.

Those who have NET/SET/JRF/ICMR/GATE score, are eligible for interview stage directly. Hence, it would be better to qualify any of these exams, to have good chance of admission.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
