Can a correspondent student in M.Tech apply for Ph.D?
Can a correspondent student in m.tech go for phd in future? Will I be eligible to apply for Ph.D course? Can you please let me know if that would be a right choice to do or I can try something else? Waiting for the answer. Thanks.

Re: Can a correspondent student in M.Tech apply for Ph.D?
If you have done you Master's degree from a recognized distance education University then surely you will be eligible for Ph.D admission without any doubt. Just make sure that you have got at least 55% marks in your Master degree. If you can crack any exams like NET/SLET/JRF then Ph.D is a very good option because it will open jobs for you in Government Universities. You can carry on your research work along with your Lecturer job in a Government college.
If you don't qualify exams like NET/SLET/JRF then it will become difficult to get admission in a good college for your Ph.D program. Although, there are other Ph.D entrance exams too for admission but most of the Ph.D intakes in India is through NET/SLET/JRF scores. |
