Yes, you are eligible for CSIR NET exam which is conducted for JRF post.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Those candidates who have completed BS-4 years program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc. or Equivalent degree with at least 55% marks are eligible for CSIR NET exam.

Your age should be below 28 years.

For CSIR NET Master's degree is sufficient to make you eligible. If you have M.Phil holder and you want admission in Ph.D then you can get it without appearing for any exam. If you want to qualify CSIR NET then you can apply for it because it will help you in getting government lecturer job.

NET/SLET is necessary for getting government lecturer job in India. JRF qualifying will help you during admission in Ph.D if you don't have M.Phil qualification. If you want to gain research experience then JRF is good for you.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
