When the exams for CSIR held? How to prepare for it being a Science student?

CSIR NET is held two time in a year in the month of June/December and you can apply for it only when you have a Master's degree in given discipline with at least 55% marks. MBBS, B.Tech, B.Pharma and B.Vsc qualified candidates are also eligible for this exam if they have at least 60% marks. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.

For preparation you should follow the syllabus of the exam for your subject. Mainly questions will be related to your Post Graduation. You can get specialized study material from coaching centers if you want or you can prepare you own study material. There are mock tests also available for students online and most of the coaching centers offer it. You can test yourself through mock tests also.
