Direct PhD in Biotechnology with GATE score is possible? Colleges offering admission?

Yes if you are GATE/NET/SLET/JRF qualified candidate then you can apply for Ph.D admission without appearing for any entrance exam. But you must have a Master's degree also with at least 55% marks from a recognized University. You are having B.Tech and you have to study Master's degree then only you can apply for Ph.D admission.

You can get admission in following colleges after Master's in Biotechnology

1. Jawaharlal Nehru University : Centre for Biotechnology, New Delhi (Delhi)

2. Banaras Hindu University : Faculty of Science, Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh)
